Loves Music is Doug
Nibbelink (top) and Kirk Laninga (bottom). We
met in college back in the dark ages and started a band. We played live here and there and went into three different studios to make some recordings. Our experiences in the studio with our own band
and the results of other recording projects made us realize that
few amateur musicians ever reach the point where they are
able to give their best performance in a
traditional recording studio.
Our
passion for music of all kinds inspired us to
begin recording live performances on location in the West Michigan area.
Three
recording projects have been completed so far.
One a series of traditional music (choral, pipe
organ, piano, and string quartet) recordings at
Hope Church in Holland. The second, a contemporary praise
and worship music CD recorded at Watershed, a
ministry of Harderwyk Reformed Church in Holland. The third a praise and worship CD for Hillside Community Church in Grand Rapids.
